GRADUATION

Today is Wednesday, May 11, 2011.  I graduate from high school on Friday, May 13, 2011.  I have less than two days until I put on a cap and gown and walk to the beat of "Pomp and Circumstance."  That is a very scary, nerve-wracking, exciting, exhilarating, saddening, and happy thought all at once.  But "what comes will come, and we'll meet it when it does" in the wise words of one Rubeus Hagrid :).

So today, I will start with optimism, because I have some fantastic news!!!  First piece of optimistic news: Erik, my boyfriend of nearly three years, just got a JOB at Chili's!!! :D  He will be making $10 an hour for starters!!!  And he's very excited to be working in the kitchen!!! :D  Second news: I am writing this blog on my very own, brand-new LAPTOP!!!! :D :D :D It's my graduation present from my mom and stepdad!!!! :D  I'm so excited!!!!!!!!  So that's two awesome things!!! :D

To sorta continue that tangent, I LOVE graduation gifts!!!  They are so cool!!!  I'm getting money for finishing high school :).  And gifts (like a LAPTOP!!!) :).  This is very cool :).  Makes me lean a bit more toward excitement in graduating :).

Pessimism: iTunes sucks.  Big time.  It is so complicated and everything, and it is DRIVING ME NUTS!!!!  I have to reupload all my music to iTunes on my new laptop because you can't sync the music from your phone.  How annoying!!!  Grrr...stupid iTunes!!!

Well, I guess that's all for today!!!!  There's a TON going on right now (way too much to write about).  I do have to say that there's a lot to be said for a day of relaxing and reading a book.  I don't think I'll be having one of those for a while.........
