So...I apologize for the post last night. I deleted it because I reread it and decided it was too personal for the internet. I try to avoid explicitly personal things on here for the most part. Last night was the exception, so now it's gone, and we can all forget about it. Right?? Right.
Pessimism for the day: Packing SUCKS. It's no fun, especially when you are using several smallish bags instead of a suitcase or something or when you have more to pack back up than you unpacked the last time. Not fun, but it needs to be done. *Sigh* If only I could wave a wand and have my things neatly packed...
Optimism: FRIEND DAY THIS SATURDAY!!!!!! I am SO excited to spend the day with my best friends!!! I've missed them all so much!!! It's going to be an awesome day ^_^.
Also optimism: Moving back to school tomorrow (hence the packing)!!! I'm quite excited to be going back :). I'm rather looking forward to it all!!!
Spent some time with my grandmother today and yesterday. That was lovely :). I miss her SO much. It's so nice to go and visit, I should do that more often. Also, Pawpaw's having surgery soon, I should go see him afterwards. I hope he'll be alright. I worry about him. I can tell my family worries too, but, in the nature of my family, we sort of try to laugh it off.
I've recently discovered that laughing off the serious things works wonders for relieving tension and worry. For example, Shelby and I spent half of exam week joking about rape, even though neither of us think rape is a funny thing at all. It just makes things easier to deal with when you can laugh and joke about them. I try to do that more :).
I should draw more. I used to draw and color stuff all the time, particularly names. I liked drawing and decorating people's names. I did Shannon's name several times, and I did a TON of drawings of Erik's name, sometimes linked with mine. I still have a few of them on my wall because I liked them so much (and I like having his name on my wall ;)). I also drew some of the chapter pictures from different HP books, and they are actually very good, if I do say so myself. I discovered my sophomore year that I'm not very good at drawing in general, but I CAN draw HP stuff decently well. My pictures of the Luna chapter pictures turned out the best. Perhaps I'll post some pictures of them at some point. Then again, perhaps not. We shall see :).
Since I'm deleting my Facebook soon, I'll have much more free time not being wasted on there, so hopefully I'll start drawing some more.
Beauty and the Beast is coming to theaters on Friday, and I'm excited!!! I'm definitely going to see it!!! It's one of my favorite Disney movies (my aunt's as well...we often bond over favorite movies ;)). I saw Lion King twice when it was in theaters, and I'm sure I'll see Beauty and the Beast at least as many times :). I love that movie so much. Belle is and has always been my favorite Disney princess. I identify with her, especially her love for books :). (I've mentioned to Erik several times that giving me a library as a gift would be a wonderful idea ;)). There's also the small short, Tangled: Ever After, premiering before Beauty and the Beast, and I want to see it!! I want to see Rapunzel and Flynn get married ^_^. So yeah, it's a must-see!!!
Anyways, this blog has now served its purpose. It has helped me to procrastinate packing my things for tomorrow morning. Now I should probably actually get the job done; since it has to be done at some point, might as well do it now. I've got Grease to keep me company while I pack :). Rizzo and Kenickie are my favorites ;). Tell me about it, stud.
Well, then I guess I should go for now. Au revoir, Ghost Readers ;).
