Work hard, give freely, love joyously, think deeply, enjoy innocence, don't grow up too fast, be creative, never give up, learn loads, pray often, dare to be different, forgive but don't forget, respect others, joke, laugh, sing, dance, scream, cry, hurt, heal, and always love the life you are living. Each day is a blessing.

"You could have saved him."

"During afternoon tea, there's a chill in the air,
A bone-trembling shift that tells you she's there.
There are those who believe the whole town is cursed,
But the house in the marsh is by far the worst.
What she wants is unknown, but she always comes back,
The specter of darkness, the Woman in Black."

So, we were scared out of our minds, sorta.  I think the anticipation of scary things jumping out at us was worse than some of the scary things themselves.  The movie did an excellent job of conveying a creepy mood.  Also, Katelyn and I sat there saying "Oh no...something's about to jump out...something's about to jump out!!"  Other than constantly being on edge, it was a pretty good movie.  I have to say that once the credits started rolling, Katelyn and I all but RAN out of the theater XD.  That last shot...*zoom in on Woman in Black's dead, creepy face* *Woman in Black LOOKS RIGHT INTO CAMERA* was pretty freaky, and we were worried they might try to get one last scare in at the end of the credits or something.  Coming back to her house for dinner didn't help much either.  We were all talking abut scary movies, and Katelyn and I had just recited the poem from Nightmare on Elm Street (even though neither of us has seen the movie) when we hear a door creak, which FREAKED US OUT, but it was just Kelsey.  Then, Katelyn's dad went outside and banged on the window, causing Katelyn, who had her back to the window, to let out a terrified screech that scared the rest of us more than her dad did!  Anyways, now we have to worry about going to sleep...we're actually considering sleeping with the lights on...

So yeah.  It was fun, though, and quite fun to talk and laugh about during/after the movie.  The rest of the day was uneventful.  We went to a party with the Quidditch team last night, but it wasn't fun, and we probably will not ever go to another one.  I had a nice, relaxing day most of today, and I had lunch with Rachel, which was also fun.  Tomorrow Erik is taking me out somewhere nice for dinner for Valentine's Day :).  I'm VERY EXCITED!!!

Well, I think Katelyn and I are now going to attempt to make it through the night without screaming.  Goodnight, Ghost Reader.

PS: Katelyn and I were just talking about the end of the movie, where Arthur's son, prompted by the Woman in Black, lets go of his father' hand and begins to walk to the railroad tracks.  We were asking how Arthur could have let his son walk away after everything that had happened when Katelyn said, "After all this time?" and I immediately came back with "Always," which sent us into a fit of giggle for the next several minutes :).
